Abstract. The article presents the results of an empirical study of the psychological characteristics of modern Internet-dependent students as individuals, characterized by impaired mental security of individuals. The article contains the results of full-scale study of psychological manifestations internet-dependent group of students, as well as building a psychological portrait of the individual student's Internet-dependent (for example, one of the subjects).
