Abstract. The article deals with the problem of updating the adaptive capacities of women coming of age in the process of psychological help. The results of the study of adaptability of women 35-50 years of age. Substantiated that an effective means of updating and improving the development of adaptive capacities of women in adulthood may be theoretically sound and methodologically correct psychological help, which will ensure preservation of mental health, life satisfaction, a sufficient level of emotional well-being in a rapidly changing socio-psychological space.
