PSYCHOSEMANTICS OF THE PRENOMEN. PSYCHOLOGY AND THE MEANING OF A PERSONAL NAME
Abstract. The article reveals the history of the appearance of a personal name, the main approaches to choosing a name. The question of the need to change or modify the personal name is considered. The effects of social perception by personal name are described. The specifics of pronunciation and understanding of the meaning of the name in a multicultural environment are explained. It is spoken about the specifics of the sound perception of the name. The projective techniques of working with a personal name are given. The history of the name modification and its semantics are described. The method of semantic differentials when listening to the sound of a name is explained. The name is described as the essence of the object. The relation of the name to such generic spheres as the names of deceased relatives, the effect of "clumping" of names, the effect of the middle gender difference is considered. The mythological and scenario component of the name is given. The types of names in different cultures of mankind are classified. The classification of the origin of Russian names is given. The effect of the new names and the functions of the modern name are described.
