Abstract. The article focuses on the concept of human consciousness. It is based on the teachings of the great German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel's consciousness. Teaching on the subject of consciousness is the individual «I» of man, which is considered in three ways: a) as it appears, and b) how to develop, and c) that is in a developed form. In other words, Hegel's doctrine of consciousness is limited only by the scope egologii – the understanding of the phenomenon of the human «I».
