THEORETICAL APPROACH TO THE PROBLEM OF PERSONALITY PSYCHOLOGICAL TIPOLOGY

Abstract. The article analyzes the traditional approaches to the problem of construction of a psychological personality typology. Discussed the main advantages and disadvantages of typological approach and the limits of its use in psychology as such. The original allocation system of psychological types based on four fundamental, from the point of view of the author, the aspirations of man. Set out the characteristic of the 8 socionic personality types corresponding to described by Myers and Briggs types. They are aligned to some existing common and popular psychological typologies.
