PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILDREN WITH GENERAL SPEECH UNDEVELOPMENT
Abstract. The article reveals the psychological features of the development of preschool children with speech disorders, in particular the diagnosis of «general underdevelopment of speech». With speech disorders, the central nervous system is damaged, which has a significant negative impact on all mental development, including cognitive, emotional-volitional and personal spheres. The necessity of timely correction of speech defects is emphasized.
