INCREASING THE PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL LITERACY OF MOTHERS

Abstract. The article deals with the demographic situation in Russia and the care of the state to increase the birth rate. Statistical data on the birth rate growth in Russia since 2007 related to the implementation of the economic program «Maternity capital» are presented. The possibilities of using maternal capital to improve living conditions, education and treatment of children. In this context, the question is raised about the need to improve the psychological and pedagogical literacy of future young mothers through psychological education and family counseling.
