COGNITIVE ABILITIES OF STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN CONDITIONS OF DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION
Abstract. The article reveals the substantiation of the author's conceptual approach to the study of the cognitive abilities of students in the context of modern conditions for the development of education. This approach is a set of leading ideas that reveal the essence and patterns of the process of age-related development of cognitive abilities. The concept is presented on the basis of generalization, systematization and integration of various theoretical and own experimental data obtained as a result of a longitudinal study, and is carried out within the framework of a systematic description of the ontological, chronological, structural-dynamic and causal aspects of age development.
