UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT OF «SELF» IN PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCE

Abstract. The article reveals the contents of the «self-realization» of the concept from the standpoint of existing in psychological science approaches. Objectified purpose, sources and driving forces of the process of self-realization as a psychological categories. Marked differences in the interpretation of the test category various psychological areas. Are identified sutures of the Western and Eastern types of self-realization. We analyze the structure and stages of the process of self-realization. Substantiates the theoretical basis of the study from the standpoint of human self-realization of integrative characteristics, its subjective qualities.
