Abstract. This article discusses the relevance of information and psychological security of older people, as one of the most vulnerable to the information impact of population groups. The article contains a detailed study of the essence of information and psychological security, the main sources of information that can negatively affect the psychological state of a person, as well as the most likely consequences of the negative impact of information on the older generation
