PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF AGE INITIATION IN A FAIRY TALE
Abstract. The article reveals the meaning and content of the process of initiation in a fairy tale from a psychological point of view. It is shown that the initiation rites that mark the transition from childhood to adulthood in fairy tales are very diverse, often cruel and lead to the symbolic death of the hero, which is a necessary psychological condition for the growth and development of the individual at the stages of growing up and acquiring a new social status.
