SEMANTICS OF DARK AND DIM COLORS IN CLINICAL PSYCHOANALYSIS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON EMOTIONAL LABILITY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF O. REDON'S CHARCOAL DRAWINGS AND GRAPHICS)
Abstract. This article is devoted to the study of the semantics of dark, dull colors from the standpoint of an analytical approach. In particular, research interest lies in considering the influence of the selected spectrum on the emotional lability of the human psyche as a whole and in the perception of pictures of the period of symbolism. The early work of Odilon Redon, the founder of French symbolism, was chosen as a source base for semantic and Jungian analysis.
