PSYCHOLOGY: THE POSSIBILITY OF FINAL THEORY
Abstract. The article presents the developed by the author of «personality-oriented concept of happiness» (LOCKS) and the main results obtained with its help. Dual-system and multi-level building this theory allows us to successfully address the methodological problems in the field of General Psychology and developmental psychology and psychology of personality. The output of the investigation have implications for pedagogy, moral philosophy with psychology and other related sciences. On the basis of a theoretical concept developed and successfully tested several groups of practices that include psychological counseling system. Explanatory power and achieved by using LOCKS results allow to treat it as a candidate for the role of «final» (the most common and Basic) theory of modern psychological science.
