PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL STATE OF LONG-DISTANSE SAILORS
Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the influence of the time spent on board the psychological characteristics of sailors during the long voyage. A brief review of previous studies of sailors is given. The result of the study showed that the mental state of sailors depends on the time spent on the ship. With an increase in the length of stay, the level of aggression, anxiety, frustration and rigidity increases. Levels of situational and personal anxiety also change upward. The results can be used to create recommendations and develop measures to improve occupational health on ships, and are incorporated into the policies of shipping companies.
